The big day
Today is the last day of summer school. Finally, the kids are turning stuff in. Might they have done so over the past four weeks? Certainly. Did they? Some of them did. Still, I'm excited by a couple who may pass if they can keep up the pace for another few hours.
Hope springs eternal.
The Woman and I will be signing on the house this afternoon, and closing should be finished tomorrow. Sometimes things move a little slowly in small towns, but that's okay. I'll be awash in debt by Saturday and beginning a move.
I'm quite excited.
Oh, and yesterday was my birthday too. Woot!

Happy birthday, Dear Old G.T! I think the Woman got you a pretty good present.
Happy birthday late -- a house, what a birthday gift! :) Glad that summer school is over; now you can get busy with all the wonderful issues of home ownership. May the Lord bless you all as you face the inevitable hassles and may you fully enjoy the blessings of the new home.
Thanks, 71Hawk. I had a good day.
Thanks, alaiyo. We'll have a busy summer, but I'm happy with the new place.
Things move slowly in a small town!? You've got to be kidding me! BECAUSE it's a small town, we closed on the house just under two weeks after the auction date! Do you not remember how long it took to close on the house in the city? Two months!
Sheesh! Some people have no patience!
;)
I move quickly.
Move it up, or move it over.
How's that painting coming?
Are you 41 now like the Woman! How time flies! :)
P.S. Hi Cindy!!!
