Christmas card

I found the following written inside a Christmas card left on my desk this morning:

"Thank you for editing my papers 8,000 times, and for putting up with all of my stupid questions. Most of all, thanks for not giving up on me, and answering my questions with enthusiasm. You make me want to be better at english."

I'm tearing up just a little.

Prospective teachers who took state teacher licensing exams from 2002 to 2005 scored higher on SATs in high school and earned higher grades in college than their counterparts who took the exams in the mid-1990s...
